Dr Louise Clarke is the owner and director of The Consulting Clinic Ltd. She is a Chartered & Consultant Psychologist.
Dr Clarke is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland and the British Psychological Society. Dr Clarke is also an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPsS). This title is awarded in recognition of several years’ experience and contribution to the field of psychology.

Dr Clarke, is a Chartered Psychologist. This accreditation reflects the highest standard of psychological training. In order to achieve this level of accreditation, Psychologists must have a recognised first degree in psychology and have successfully completed an accredited postgraduate training. Dr Clarke studied for 8 years full-time in psychology.
Dr Clarke received her undergraduate degree in Ireland, before undertaking postgraduate training in the United Kingdom. After completing a Masters degree and a Postgraduate degree in Psychology, Dr Clarke completed a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. Dr Clarke’s UK qualifications have been validated in Ireland by the validation unit, Irish Department of Health.
Dr Clarke has worked in the National Health Service and The Private Sector including working as a Lead Psychologist and Consultant Psychologist for The Priory Hospital and in Harley Street, the world renowned centre of excellence where she set up her own practice.
Dr Clarke is now based in The Republic of Ireland and works as a Consultant Psychologist in Dublin. She is available for workshops in the UK and provides Skype consultations.
Her practice is rooted in cutting-edge psychology research and scientific evidence based treatment models. She offers Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (Mindfulness based Cognitive Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) as well as Psychodynamic Therapy.
Dr Clarke lectured at University College Dublin on the Postgraduate Certificate in Acute Mental Health Interventions and The Higher Diploma in Mental Health Nursing in 2015 and 2016.

Dr Clarke is non judgemental and interactive in her approach, helping clients transform their lives. She works in a solution focused way to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals.

Dr Clarke is 40 years old, married and is a mother of two. She trained and worked in the UK for 12 years where she gained valuable experience. She returned to Ireland in 2014 and set up The Consulting Clinic in Dublin. She enjoys sport in her spare time having represented Ireland, internationally, in horse riding before pursuing her career in Psychology. She enjoys learning and is committed to providing evidence based practice and helping clients overcome their difficulties and connect with their values.
